Feeling fresh with the colour GREEN

Green is never my favourite colour to begin with, and I seldom own things in green colour. However, as I've started running my online fashion store, I've begin to have more acceptance towards each and every colour and I think that every colour looks great in their own way! And I've gotta admit, I've started to appreciate the colour green more and more, and I have tons of stuff in green colour!

Besides that, I love taking pictures with green sceneries, and I guess you can tell from these OOTD pictures! :D

I found that green is a very calming and relaxing colour, and it's very easy to match with anything as it gives out a "refreshing" vibe. I guess 5 out of 10 of my pictures have greeneries in its background :p It's not the colour that I used to hate anymore as I've started to appreciate how lovely this colour is!

Recently, OPPO has launched its limited edition R9s series in green colour and honestly I'm in love with the colour once I have my eyes on it. It's a very subtle and refreshing green, and it also comes with functions such as fast charging and a 16MP rear camera. 

It also has a 16MP front camera which takes super good selfies! I'm amazed with its selfie mode as I think it takes better pictures than any other phones.

I personally really love the phone as it takes fabulous selfies and to be honest, I rarely take selfies cus I barely get to take nice ones, but this phone has totally changed the selfie game to the next level!

Ivory White Bridal

I guess we girls have some sort of fantasy towards all these white and pretty gowns right? A while ago, I was invited by Ivory White Bridal to view their bridal gown and evening dress collection in their newly launched studio and even had the privilege to try them on! (don't worry I'm not getting married anytime soon yet okay) 

It was my very first time trying on wedding gowns and I totally had no idea how they would look on me. To be honest, it was my very first time visiting a bridal studio and having such a close look and touch on these lovely and finely made gowns! I was really amazed and in love with all these pretty embroidering, sequins and gemstone stitchings on each gown. 

I had the chance to try on a few wedding gowns! There's a few type that I've tried on and I have to admit that I have the urge to get married once I put on these amazing pieces. I've tried on two trumpet shape gowns and I think they fit kinda well as the trumpet shape emphasizes on the waist and hips line.

The second type I've tried on was this classic ballgown type of gown. I guess they're my favourite as it makes me look so much slimmer since I am really chubby on my lower body part and they've managed to cover up my problem parts! And the details were so so so beautiful.

I really loved the one with a heart shape bust line and with some off shoulder frills cus it made my body look perfect (when it's not) since it has totally concealed up all my problem parts such as my flabby arms and big lower body part. 

Besides wedding gowns, I've also got to tried on some evening dresses! They were equally finely made as well with lots and lots of embroidery and sequins (omg god knows how much I love all these blingy stuff).

Basically, I had so much fun trying on all these pretty gowns for the first time! Still can't get over with how many pretty gowns there were in the studio that I really wanted to try on, but I guess I'll leave them until the next time when I'm finally becoming a bride lollll. Birthday!!

Being an October baby, I had my birthday twice in the UK, but sadly, I didn't get to have any proper celebration with my friends. Once I was back in Malaysia, I was so glad that I'm finally able to have a really legitttt birthday party with my closest people! 

My birthday was on the 2nd of October (I'm a proud Libra) but I had this birthday celebration on the 25th of October due to the time spent on planning and so on. Anyway, it was an awesome night and I really couldn't ask for more!

Had my celebration at Underground Societe, which can be easily Wazed but not so easily found, as it was camouflaged as a shop that does not look like a restaurant! Sounds crazy right? If it wasn't for the unnoticeable "US" sign outside of the restaurant, you'll never realise that this "THE LEMONADE SHOP" is actually a restaurant inside. We have tried almost all of their signature dishes that night, especially this unreal "flying noodle". Curious? Check it out then! I really loved their cocktails as well, they were really really good. 

The party's event planner, La Memoria (instagram: @la_memoria), has gotten everything planned and arranged SO SO SO WELL, including the backdrop, balloons and props. I have opted for a pastel blue and pink floral theme, where they have really put a lot of effort in meeting my requirements. I have only shown them a couple of pictures as reference and I've let them to decide on all the designs, and I was beyond surprised that all the details turned out to be far better than what I've expected! Thumbs up for their professionalism!

The desserts were fantastic. My lovely and tasty pastel cake and hand-painted macaroon tower was provided by Foret Blanc (instagram: @foretblanc), where the delicious yet adorable strawberry tower was provided by With Love (instagram: withhold.byw). My friends were so in love with the strawberries and we finished them in a night! Being a macaroon fetish, I am very particular with how macaroons taste like and I can totally declare that the macaroons were as good as those Italian brands I had back in UK! It was really soft and chewy on the inside, which I really loooooove. I am usually skeptical with how fancy cakes taste like (I've tasted a few of them and they were errrrrrrr), but this one was not only fancy on the outside but it tasted even better than it looks.

I'm also really grateful for having such an amazing bunch who are always by my side through thick and thin! We got to take tons of pictures for the night and we were really happy with all the food and set-ups.

Once again, I wanna thank all the sponsors for this birthday celebration for making this party such a huge success! Many thanks to Underground Societe for being such a good host for the night, as the venue is such a perfect spot for celebrations, and the food were on point too! Also, I am really grateful with all the handwork that the event planner, the La Memoria team, has put off for this entire party. Weekend Getaways in UK: Cornwall and Brighton

It's officially summer! After having two continuous dreadful and torturous exam weeks, I have went on a weekend getaway spree for 2 weekends straight to Cornwall and Brighton which I have been wanting to go since a long long time ago.


First destination: Cornwall

It was my very first road trip with my boyfriend and his classmates (I'm definitely the odd one out but yeah), and it was a lovely trip with them lovely people. We rented a house via Airbnb and it's got to be one of the best Airbnb accommodation that I've lived in so far. I am so sorry that I don't have any pictures of it because I was too busy snapchatting the house where I have forgotten to take pictures of it.
Anyway, if you're going to Cornwall, I would highly recommend to get a car and drive around there as it is more convenient to drive to the tourist spots, where it took us approximately half an hour to an hour to drive to each spot.


Land's End

Since it's literally the "land's end" of the most western point of England, it's a really magnificent and stunning landmark to visit while being in this country. We were so lucky to be touring around Cornwall that day because of the perfect sunny weather, hence my mood was really good since I have managed to take a lot of pretty pictures!

St. Michael's Mount

It was a pretty interesting place to be as we get to "walk" on the sea! Actually, it was when the tides were low, people can walk from the beach to reach to the St. Michael's Mount through a causeway that is built on the sea. The view throughout the small walk was really beautiful as we get to take pictures being close to the sea. (Do not forget to bring your slippers for the walk as your feet might get wet due to the tides)

Upon reaching the mount, there's a pretty garden around the entrance to the castle. You will have to climb all the way up to visit the castle, and of course, I didn't bother to go up because the weather was too hot and I was too lazy. :)

 St. Ives Bay

We've reached St. Ives at the most perfect timing - when the sun sets! It was a perfect spot to catch the sunset view, and I guess it was the first time that I get to watch the sunset on such a beautiful and romantic beach.

Minack Theatre

It was our last stop in Cornwall and it's a place where people actually watch shows by the cliff? Pretty interesting to not visit right? Anyway, I didn't get to take much pictures there because the wind was too strong and chilly, but the view was really magnificent and pretty scary to actually look down the cliff lolll

Second destination: Brighton

It was another road trip with my boyfriend, and my two best friends Sofea and Jeanne, I was so happy to be travelling with my favourite people! We rented a car and drove to Brighton, and stayed there for a night. The Airbnb accommodations in Brighton runs out really fast since it is a really popular weekend getaway destination, so be sure to book your Airbnb accommodation at least 2 weeks in advance!

Our first stop was the Brighton Pier, which is where the famous rocky beach is! Since it was still spring at the time we went there, so it was still really breezy, cold and totally inappropriate for us to wear like that.....(t-shirt and shorts).

After taking pictures and chilling around the beach, we headed to Hove Beach for the cute colourful huts. The wind was crazy as well, gosh.

Hopped around the city area and we had a lovely seafood lunch in a restaurant called Riddle and Finns and we got to taste the yummiest Malaysian style crab ever! In Brighton, just eat seafood like there's no tomorrow because it's sooooo fresh.

Last stop: the Seven Sisters Cliff! We have came a long long long way to reach the cliff by walking for more than an hour because we've missed the main entrance to the cliff. Nevertheless, we've got to enjoy the nature throughout our path to the cliff and look at the sheep and the greens.

These two places were filled with sea breeze, beautiful views and happiness. It's amazing that almost everywhere in the UK is worth visiting because of its amazing landscapes, I have yet to visit to other amazing places in this country and I hope I will get to explore them real soon. Next stop...... Spain in two week's time!
